Metallurgy is a highly challenging field for DITHERM in respect of expertness. Regarding the aggressive environment affecting the lining material, thus causing fast wear of the material, broad knowledge of applied materials and long-term experience are a necessary condition. Our main goal is to increase the life of lining to ensure economically efficient operation. Therefore, DITHERM offers a “full line service” for metallurgy when we repair customer´s furnaces and ladles by charging a rate per every ton that has passed through, or the number of refining hours. This procedure ensures maximum optimization of costs of production of one ton of steel.

In metallurgy, DITHERM operates on the domestic market as well as on the foreign market and cooperates, for example, with Unex, Žďas, Poldi Hütte, Pilsen Steel, Železárny Hrádek etc.
