Aggregates for the processing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals are as challenging with their requirements for materials, material composition and lining technologies as those in the chemical industry. This field is always a professional challenge for DITHERM and we have been proving our maturity and experience for fifteen years. There, too, is a broad spectrum of aggregates for the production of metals for various purposes and experience and field knowledge obtained in the long term are a must. There are lot of various types of aggregates implemented by the company and only the main ones are mentioned here: walking beam furnaces, forging furnaces, heating and soaking pit furnaces, annealing furnaces, cupola furnaces, furnaces for the production of aluminium and precious metals, furnaces for the processing of lead etc. In 2010/2011, DITHERM participated in the construction of the new steel works in Strážske (Slovakia) where the company supplied also construction technologies in addition to the design and construction of the lining.

As far as processing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals is concerned, DITHERM provides, among others, comprehensive maintenance services: the specialized team is compiled according to customer´s needs and remains stable. The team designs a set of materials and technologies that will demonstrably reduce both the duration of repairs of aggregates (partial, general) and the frequency of repairs. The team project manager further designs innovations of technical solutions and supervises the implementation team during the application of the lining. Team outcomes are monitored together with the customer using indicators that have high information values and suit customer´s needs.

In the field of processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals, DITHERM operates on the domestic market as well as on the foreign market and cooperates, for example, with Tafonco Kopřivnice, Safina Vestec, Sochorová válcovna Kladno, Kovohutě Rokycany, Kovohutě Příbram, CPF Plzeň, Pilsen Steel etc.
